Members are invited to participate in activities planned for members by the Wellington Branch committee. You may also wish to propose additional activities and other possible venues.
Wellington Branch Committee
The Wellington Branch AGM was held on 23 May 2017 at the Petone Working Men's Club in Petone. A total of 64 members attended and the following were elected for the coming year.
Chairman Ian Clunies-Ross.
Deputy Chairman Peter Chambers.
Committee members Janice Campbell, Kevin Duggan, Wilf Haskell, Graham Hill, Colin MacIntosh, Elizabeth Smaal, Mike Smith, Kay Monks, Bryan Whisker, and Ray Woolhouse.
The branch committee meets every second month and has active sub committees that meet as required.

Activities for 2017
Tuesday 23 May
The Wellington Branch AGM will be held on Tuesday 23 May at the Petone Working Men's Club. This will be followed by a luncheon. Details will be advised in the Wellington Branch May newsletter.
Tuesday 20 June
A light lunch will be provided at the meeting room in Anvil House on Tuesday 20 June. This was successfully held for the first time last year and is intended for members looking for a cheaper option to the full social luncheon at other venues. Details will be advised in the Wellington Branch May newsletter.
Wednesday 26 July
The mid winter function will be held at The Pines, Houghton Bay. Details will be advised in the Wellington Branch May newsletter.
Thursday 28 September
The venue for the Wairarapa lunch at the South Wairarapa Working Men's Club. Details will be advised in the Wellington Branch May newsletter.
Thursday 23 November
The Christmas function will be held at the Upper Hutt Cosmopolitan Club on Thursday 23 November. Details will be advised in the Wellington Branch October newsletter.

SuperTravels was incorporated in 2013 and runs tours for GSA members. The tour programme and newsletter is distributed with the Annuity News and Wellington Branch Newsletter. This information can also be obtained by clicking on the SuperTravels link above.
