Membership

Membership of the Government Superannuitants Association is open to: 

  1. anyone receiving an annuity from the Government Superannuation Fund GSF, and partner;
  2. anyone receiving an annuity from the National Provident Fund Defined Benefit Plan, and partner;
  3. anyone still contributing to the GSF or the NPF DBP, and partner.

Subscription

The subscription is $1.50 per annuity, deducted from your annuity every four weeks. Where you have a partner who has a stake in your annuity, your partner can also be a member of the Association, with no additional subscription.

If you have yet to receive an annuity, the annual subscription is $19.50, paid into the Association bank account or by cheque.

Members on joining receive an information handbook and a personal data book, and receive the Association Newsletter and their branch newsletter every six months. Members can attend branch gatherings to obtain information and to meet other members. The branch can also assist with queries from individuals about their annuities.
