The Council

  • The Council is the governing body of the Association. The Council meets annually.
  • The Council comprises members of the Board and one delegate or two from each of the 19 Association branches.

The Board

  • The Board comprises the President, Vice-President, four other members elected by the Council and up to three other members appointed by the Board.
  • The Board meets regularly to conduct the business of the Association between meetings of the Council and implement its policies.
  • There is a regular exchange of information between branches and the Board.
  • The Association Newsletter is mailed to members in April and October with information about Association activities and updating current issues.
